Events Held Today in Various Yemeni Governorates

Safia district in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a witnessed this afternoon an extensive public meeting today, which included various social and official performances, as well as the attendance of national political components, especially the members of Ansarullah and the People’s General Congress, Yemen’s most prominent parties.

The broad coordination meeting is part of the prelude to the popular central festival held in the capital Sana’a this upcoming Sunday in Al-Sabeen square in commemoration of the second anniversary since the beginning of the war waged by the US-backed Saudi coalition on Yemen.

Speeches stressed that the mass rally on the second anniversary of the aggression conveys a message that says that Yemenis are more united, and as the aggression prolongs, the Yemeni determination becomes greater.

On the other hand, students of Abdulrahman bn Awf, Haraer Dyr Ayash and Dyr Amr schools protested in Zaidia district, Hodeidah, condemning the massacres committed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The protesters condemned the silence of the international community and humanitarian organizations toward the genocide being committed against the Yemeni people, carried out by the Saudi-American coalition, the latest of which was the massacres against the children of Khokha, the passers-by on the coastal road as well as the Somali refugees.

Speaking of today’s events, people of Al-Radhma district, Ibb governorate, held an event to commemorate the birth of Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).

The event included many speeches and songs that express the virtue and greatness of prophet Mohamed’s daughter, Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her. Attendees assured to walk on the same path of Al-Zahra and learn from her all the values of the Islamic religion.

Following the event, a demonstration took place in condemnation of the crimes committed by the US-backed Saudi coalition against Yemenis, preceded by a support convoy for the Yemeni army and popular forces on the battlefield.
