At least three Yemeni civilians were killed today Friday, while three others are now suffering wounds due to raids waged by the fighter jets of the US-backed Saudi coalition on residential regions in the heart of Saada city, northern Yemen.

The raids hit a local market located in the center of Saada governorate, northern Yemen,  correspondent of YemenExtra reported.

Earlier today, the coalition’s warplanes waged a aid on a citizen’s house in Al-Rakwa region, Majz district, Saada. The attack led to the death of a man and a child, as well as the injury of a woman.

Different regions of Razih district, Saada, also witnessed heavy missile and artillery bombardment by forces of Saudi Arabia.

The 10-country coalition supported by the United States have been accused of committing several war crimes, including the targeting of a Somali refugee boat fleeing the war through the Red Sea.

The air strikes launched by the coalition also targeted local markets in the governorates of Hajjah and Hodeida, creating massacres due to the high number of casualties.

Moreover, the already exhausted Yemeni infrastructure has been bombarded, including hospitals, schools, factories, etc…

Yemen is currently under air, sea and land siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition, which caused several consequences to the war-torn country. Various hospitals has called for help prior to closure for the lack of basic and essential medical supplies. Furthermore, famine is spreading rapidly since the country imports 80% to live.

The US-backed Saudi coalition has been waging a war on Yemen since March 26, 2015, in an attempt to make the Saudi-backed president, Hadi, take rule again after he was taken down by revolutionaries.
