Legal Center: 32,749 Civilians Were Killed and Injured as a Result of the Saudi-Led Coalition

The number of civilian casualties resulting from the war waged by the US-backed Saudi coalition on Yemen has reached 32,749, including deaths and injuries, according to a report released Saturday by the Legal Center for Rights and Development.
Statistics of the legal center confirmed that the number of killed children reached 2,646, and the number of killed women is 1.922, in addition to the number of killed men marking 7,728, all of them civilians.
The Center reported that the number of documented injuries reported to the center was 2.463 children, 2,074 women and 15,916 men.
In documented details regarding the educational sector, the number of affected schools and educational institutions is 163 schools and institutes, 113 university facilities and 26 media facilities.
The LCRD also reported that the number of houses destroyed and damaged by the aggression reached 403,039, and 712 mosques were destroyed.
In the context of damaged infrastructure government facilities, the Legal Center stated that the coalition targeted 161 stations and generators, 307 reservoirs and water networks, 339 networks and communication stations, 270 hospitals and health facilities, 103 sports facilities and 1,624 government facilities.
In addition, the number of tourist establishments targeted by the US-backed Saudi coalition reached 223 and 206 archeological landmarks.
On the transportation aspect, statistics indicated that 515 food tankers, 235 oil tankers, 15 airports, 14 ports and 1,577 roads and bridges were targeted.
In the commercial and agricultural establishments sector, the number of bombarded commercial establishments reached 2,574, 1,630 agricultural fields, 540 commercial markets, 277 factories, 314 gas stations, 663 food stores and 213 poultry and livestock farms.
The Ministry of Health and Population has announced in a press conference today in the capital Sana’a that the reported number of killed and wounded is more than 30 thousand civilians, which fall between dead or wounded. It added that 412 health facilities were targeted by the US-backed 10 country coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, on Yemen.
