A Vigil in Canada in Solidarity With the Yemeni People

The MAO Foundation for Mobilization against War and Occupation held a vigil on Monday in Canada to mark the second anniversary since the war began on March 26 on Yemen.

The vigil was held in the city of Vancouver in front of the Museum of Art, where participants called on the Canadian government to compel its American ally to put an end to the ongoing war as well as left the sea, air and land siege imposed on Yemen.

The war on Yemen consists of the 10-country Saudi-led coalition, supported by the United States, that waged its war with the aim of restoring the Saudi-backed president, Hadi, which was ousted by Yemeni revolutionaries.
