A Demonstration for Vital Hodeidah Port, Only Left Source to Live

The Red Sea Ports Authority organized a demonstration in Hodeidah port to protest against the practices and intentions of the Saudi-led coalition toward the very strategic port of Hodeidah.

They stressed in a statement that the direct targeting of the port of Hodeidah is the same as targeting a vast majority of Yemeni people, including children,women and the elderly who have access to the little and easy imports of food, medicines and petroleum products through this port, local source reported for YemenExtra.

The statement appealed to all actors working in the Red Sea Ports Organization to stand with the Yemeni people during this time of a harsh  war on Yemen as well as the air, sea and land siege that has doubled the human suffering of the Yemeni citizens.

Demonstrators stated that the international community also holds responsibility for the constant threats received from the forces of the Saudi-led coalition by the port of Hodeidah, it has to provide international guarantees to prevent the threats and seek to lift the siege imposed on it, in order to enable it fulfilling the needs of the many Yemenis.
