At least 36 people have been killed and others injured in two suicide bomb attacks at a Coptic Christian Cathedral, and #Tanta, northern Egypt.

Deash, who supported by Saudi, have claimed responsibility for both bomb attacks in Egypt, in a statement in Amaq news agency.

The first blast hit the St #George’s_church in the Nile Delta city of Tanta, 120km north of Cairo, killing 25 and injuring about 70 others as hundreds attended a service.

Eleven people were killed and 66 reported injured in a second blast hours later outside Alexandria’s St Mark’s cathedral, according to Egyptian media.

Pictures on social media have showed dead and the injured among shattered church pews in Tanta.

Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said: “Terrorism hits Egypt again, this time on Palm Sunday. Another obnoxious but failed attempt against all Egyptians #united_on_PalmSunday“.

Seyyed #Houthi, the leader of Ansar Allah in #Yemen, warned Egyptian leaders from Saudi Arabia, whom is a major exporter of the kind of jihadist ideology that drives groups like al-Qaeda and the Deash.
