The Yemeni employees protested on Sunday morning in front of the Russian embassy in the capital city of Sana’a.
Protesters demanded Russia to hand over their dues to the Central Bank of Yemen, denouncing the handover of the second batch of Yemeni funds to the government in Riyadh, local source reported for YemenExtra.
The protesters expressed their displeasure and anger at Russia’s stance, which claims to fight Daesh in Syria while it funds Saudi-backed Yemeni officials, despite the fact that the Saudi Kingdom funds terrorism in both Yemen and Syria, source confirmed.
Yemenis affirmed that they will not be silent toward this act, describing it as contrary to human values and ethics.
