Iraqi Forces Liberate AL-Matahen District in Ayman, Mosul

Iraq’s war media announced on Sunday the liberation of Al-Matahen neighborhood on  the right-coast of the  city of Mosul and lifting the Iraqi flag over its buildings.

It  said in a copy of statement received from  Alsumaria News,  “the anti-terrorism forces liberated today AL-matahen  neighborhood on  the right coast of the city of Mosul and raised the Iraqi flag over the buildings ” Causing  takfiris losses  in  lives  and ammunitions .

On Sunday, the Iraqi Federal Police Command announced that it had completed 60% of the mission of destroying # Daesh  supply lines and defenses on  the area nearby  Al-Nouri Mosque, while confirming that it had killed a number of leaders of # Daesh  organization, including the Al-Assra Army official and the organization’s intelligence officer.

On the other hand, an Iraqi security source said on Sunday that joint security forces launched “military torrent” operations in the district of Tarmiyah northern  Baghdad, that the security forces began closing the entrances and exits of the judiciary and launched a search campaign in search of wanted.

On January 22, 2017, the coalition of Iraqi forces called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to reveal the fate of 30 citizens of the Taji and Tarmiyah areas northern  Baghdad. They were arrested by an “unknown” force wearing uniforms and taken to an unknown destination.
