Saudi-led coalition prevent humanitarian ships from reach to Hodeidah`s port

The Saudi-coalition have prevented three ships carrying foodstuffs from entering the territorial waters, and forcing it to move away from the port of Hodeida on Tuesday.

The UN World Food Program says more than 7.3 million people urgently need food assistance and more than 460,000 children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition.

Mr McGoldrick says approximately 80 per cent of goods for the north of the country currently come through Hudaydah.

The coalition has enforced a blockade on the poverty stricken country, which is 90 per cent dependent on food imports.
