A batch of Yemeni fighters graduated on Sunday during a demonstration held by the people of Razih district, western Saada, declaring general mobilization against the Saudi-led war.
During the demonstration, people of Razih stressed on the need to head to the battlefields and confront the forces of the Saudi-led coalition in retaliation to war crimes perpetrated against Yemeni civilians. They also promised to sacrifice for the sake of defending their country and protecting its sovereignty.
In addition, the demonstrators managed to provide a convoy in support of the Yemeni joint military, containing varying types of of food and money.
The Saudi-led coalition waged its war on March 26 of 2015 on the impoverished country of Yemen.
According to the UN, the countries of of the Saudi-led coalition have violated international humanitarian law multiple times by targeting hospitals, schools, local markets, etc…
Despite the fact that the Saudi-led coalition claimed to be assisting the people of Yemen by restoring legitimacy of the ousted Saudi-backed president, Hadi, it seems like the ongoing war is only uniting Yemeni ranks to repel the Saudi regime and its allies.
