The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is rolling through the rebel heartland in northern Hama today, seizing several points after launching another strong attack this morning.

Backed by Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Arab Army controlled a number of sites, including Tal Al-Muntaar and Al-Samam Farms, after making progress north from the key town of Taybat Al-Imam.

This afternoon, the Syrian Forces shifted their attention to the Halfaya axis, where they were confronted by a large rebel contingent at the Al-Zouar Farms that are located east of this strategic town.

According to a local source, the Syrian Arab Army has broken through the rebels’ defenses at both Tal Al-Nasriyah and the Al-Zouar Farms; however, all reports of their capture are still premature.
