Tel Aviv “neutrality” has been proved false once again in the Syrian conflict after Daesh terrorists have “apologized” to Israel for mistakenly attacking Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers in the occupied Golan Heights, according to RT report that quoted a former Israeli Defense Minister.
Speaking about the wider Israeli policy of “neutrality” in Syria, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon accidentally recognized that Israel has an open communications channel with an ISIS cell operating in Golan Heights, the RT report added.
“There was one case recently where Daesh [ISIS] opened fire and apologized,” Ya’alon said on Saturday, as cited by the Times of Israel.
Ya’alon’s office refused to go in detail on his statement when being pushed to do so by local media.
The incident occurred in November 2016, where Daesh and the Israeli forces exchanged fire after the IDF’s Golani Brigade crossed the security fence with Syria to conduct an “ambush operation.”
