An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry stated that Syria condemns in the strongest of terms the attack carried out by Erdogan’s regime on Syrian territory on Tuesday April 25th, 2017, when Turkish fighter jets shelled positions in northeast Syria, claiming the lives of tens of innocent Syrian civilians.
“Syria confirms that this attack violates international law, the UN Charter, and the principle of good neighborly relations, warning against tampering with Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and trespassing against its people”, source reported.
Moreover, Syria demanded the international community and the UN to denounce this intervention and the policies of the Turkish regime that “support terrorism”.
