Iraqi Parliament Condemns the Turkish Bombing of Sinjar, Calling it “Aggression”

The Iraqi parliament on Thursday condemned the Turkish bombing of the northern Iraqi region of Jabal Sinjar this week, describing it as an “attack.”

“The House of Representatives voted during its regular session held today on the two  statements of the Foreign Relations Committee and the Committee on Security and Defense on the condemnation of the Turkish aggression in Sinjar and the border areas inside Iraqi territory,” a parliamentary source said.

The Turkish army announced that its warplane launched on Tuesday raids on sites of the PKK and its affiliated organizations in Sinjar mountain in northern Iraq and Karajukh mountain in northeastern Syria.
