AL-Ahmer Demands US Ambassador with more Support and Pressure on the So-Called «Coups»

The US ambassador to Yemen, Matthew Toller, expressed  his “appreciation to the legitimate government for its efforts aimed at reducing the suffering of Yemenis”.

Toller reiterated his country’s support for the legitimacy of Yemen and the peace based on the three pillars of the Gulf initiative, its executive mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference ,and and UN Resolution 2216.

Toller’s speech came during his meeting with Deputy of the ex-president Hadi, Major General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The latter called on the American ambassador «more pressure on the coups to accept international resolutions, and provide more support for legitimacy to fight terrorism and reconstruction».

AL-Ahmar renewed his accusations against Iran to continue interfering “in the Yemeni affairs and supporting the armed groups.”

He added: «The suffering of Yemenis arose because of the coups and the end of it depends on the salvation of Yemenis from the coups».

Al-Ahmar also reiterated the efforts of his political team “to integrate Yemen into the GCC system.”
