Recently, at least 200 cases of cholera have been diagnosed in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a, local hospitals confirmed on Friday.
A joint statement released by hospitals in Sana’a displayed that 218 people have been affected by cholera, including 3 people who were killed by this disease.
The medical sources located in the province of Ibb in central Yemen, also confirmed that the cholera epidemic has hit the region after the discovery of many cases.
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) also affirmed the validity of the last April reports about the spread of cholera in Yemen.
