Bahraini regime postpones popular religious figure’s trial

The trial of the popular Shiite cleric, Sheikh ‘Issa Qassem, has been postponed by the Bahraini regime, according to Al-Manar today.
Today’s postponement of Sheikh Qassem’s trial is considered to be a victory for the protesters that have been demanding the end of cease of the regime’s persecution of this religious scholar.
The Bahriani regime’s court postponed on Sunday declaring the verdict against Sheikh Qassem till May 21 as a response to the anger protest launched in Diraz to denounce the authorities’ insistence on trying Sheikh Qassem.
