Hezbollah made the decision to submit most of their Syrian border-posts to the Lebanese Army, the organization’s official media wing reported on Friday.
Hezbollah forces handed over their Syrian border-posts near the towns Tufayl, Brital, Ham, amd Maaraboun in Lebanon’s Beqa’a Governorate, according to Hezbollah’s media wing.
This action by Hezbollah came just 24 hours after their leader, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, declared the completion of military operations along the Syrian-Lebanese border in the Qalamoun and Zabadani mountains.
Hezbollah’s forces at the border have since moved to northeast Homs and the eastern slopes of the Qalamoun Mountains, where they are taking part in the Syrian Army’s ongoing offensive against Daesh rebels.
