Yemeni Demonstration in Hajjah Declaring General Mobilization Against Saudi Forces

People of Mstba district in the Yemeni province of Hajjah took to streets on Sunday declaring general mobilization against the forces of the Saudi-led coalition.

The demonstrators announced preparation for battle, particularly the western coastal battle in Hodeidah province, where the Saudi Kingdom attempts to occupy the area for its strategic importance.

As a result of the tough flames of war, the only lifeline for the large Yemeni population, Hodeidah Port, is threatened to be turned into rubble, worsening the case of famine already suffered by 7 million Yemenis.

“We reject any foreign interference in our affairs and matters, it is a Yemeni issue that will only be solved by Yemenis”, the demonstrators stated.

The Saudi-led coalition began a major military operation against Yemen on March 26 of 2015, claiming to be returning legitimacy to the ousted and resigned Saudi-backed president, Hadi.
