Health Ministry : Emergency State in the Capital Sana’a due to Cholera Outbreak

Ministry of Health and Population announced a state of health emergency following the spread of cholera epidemic  on Sunday.

The announcement came after cholera outbreaks in the capital Sana’a and all its districts.

The statement confirmed that the numbers of infected patients have increased up to 8,567 and that exceeded the normal rates in which  the health system cannot cope with the worsening situation.

He also called urgently  on all international organizations to help in combating the unprecedented disaster across Yemen .
