Israeli Forces Arrests 19 Palestinians from the West Bank and Clashes in Qalqilyah

The Israeli forces arrested on Tuesday morning 19 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank amid a raid on houses of citizens and implementation of searches and vandalism.

According to the agency of “Palestine Today” ,local sources said that the Israeli forces raided various areas of Nablus and arrested two youths from the town of Tel west of Nablus.

In Nablus, a young man was arrested from the village of Awarta south of Nablus, near the village of Beita, on his way back to his house. The Israeli forces also stormed Balata refugee camp east of the city and raided and searched a number of houses..

In the city of Jericho, fotces  raided the home of the secretary of the Fatah movement in Jericho, Jihad Abu al-Asal, and arrested Najla Na’il Abu al-‘Asal, the secretary of the organizational area in ‘Aqba Habr. In the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, two youths were arrested from Doha and Aida.

The forces  arrested in the town of Azzoun to the east of the city of Qalqilya arrested a youth and  a girl in the town of Qarawat Bani Zeid, near the city of Ramallah.

In a related context, clashes broke out Tuesday morning after the Israeli forces stormed the town of Azzun east of the city of Qalqiliya, during which a military jeep was overturned during the clashes.

The Palestinian Press Agency “Safa” said that a military jeep overturned after the storming of the town ,whereas  there was  the possibility of wounding one of the soldiers inside, which led the Israeli  forces to call up reinforcements and a bulldozer and closed the area.

It pointed out that the clashes expanded with the youth .Then a raid and arrests of three citizens , searching and messing their homes , and abusing their families occurred.

The Israeli forces closed all the entrances to the town and prevented entry and exit.
