General Attorney Orders to Release 52 Detainees in the Custody # Amran

Abdulaziz al-Baghdadi,The General Attorney , has ordered to release 52 detainees who were  in custody in Amran.

This came during a field visit today to inspect the prisons in Amran governorate with the presence of the governor Omran Faisal Ja’man and a number of officials of the security services.

The general attorney called on the competent authorities to arrest and detain to be strict with the procedures specified by law during the trial , after the verdict , during the period of imprisonment ,and at the end of the sentence.

He also directed to investigate an officer of the security services for the unlawful detention of one of the citizens and immediately ordered his release.ا .

He pointed out that the orders of arrest and release from the jurisdiction of the prosecution and the security authorities should  abide by the laws of the rights.

The attorney general also called on the private sector, charities and humanitarian organizations to contribute to the support of prisoners’ care resources, in addition to the state, especially assisting the disabled.

The attorney-general had heard clarification from the detainees of the prison term , the length of time they spent in prison, and the nature of the orders that sentenced them.
