The National Committee for Missing and Detained Affairs announced Friday the completion of an exchanging operation of prisoners with armed groups in Marib through local mediators.
The committee said in a press that it had conducted an exchanging operation of prisoners through local intermediaries from the party, which freed 29 prisoners from the Yemeni joint forces who were in the prisons of armed groups in Marib.
The National Committee for Prisoners and Missing Persons called on the other party to exploit the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan if it has a sincere intention to exchange prisoners. The committee is ready at any time and extends its hand to anyone who wants to seek it, especially because of the difficult conditions suffered by prisoners from both sides.
The committee welcomed all efforts to achieve exchanging operations on various fronts, thanking the efforts of local intermediaries and those who sought to make the exchanging operation successful.
