In The latest Violations Against Press Freedom in Yemen, Saudi Air Strike Kills a New Journalist

Saudi air strike has killed a journalist namely Helal Ali Al Darwani, who had been working to Sada Al Masirah Newspaper, reaching the Journalist who have been killed by Saudi war to 60 journalist most of them were war journalists.

In April 9, Saudi air strike killed Abdullah Moyyed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, in a violation was not the first one during more than two years of bombings.

In its First Annual Report, The Yemeni Media Union observed Saudi`s crimes against Yemeni media men contained a set of violations, which targeted majority of national media institutions, killing 7 journalists in national media, also destroying 7 buildings of 7 media institutions as a result of daily shelling.

Meanwhile, in the second year, the violations and crimes, which observed namely by a report, had been increased to reach 133 direct violations in comparison to last year’s report, more than 60 were intentional murder, 9 wounded, 4 clones, also12 institutions were destructed, 15 media means were blocked, and stopped on NileSat and ArabSat, as well as dozens of other violations, according to The Yemeni Media Union.

In additionally, the report referred to indirect violations against the media men in Yemen as a result of the Aggression, siege, and increasing of the economic hardship, as well as the violation against the Arabic media, which is friend to Yemeni people, and confronting the aggression.

On the other hand, Yemeni Media Union calls for forming a neutral international investigation commission of inquiry on war crimes, which have committed by Saudi-led Coalition against Yemeni media and journalists.

The Union confirmed in its an annual report that “Saudi crimes will not go unpunished, and will not fade with the passing of time, surely the Union going to fire on all cylinders for prosecuting the war criminals on Yemen who they were and where they were.”
