Saudi bombs the ancient Sa`dah city with cluster bombs for the second time

The Saudi military hit a residential neighborhood in the ancient Sa`dah city, on Sunday night, with cluster bombs for the second time, killing civilians people, according to a local source.

In May 17, a child in Amran province was severely injured, by an internationally banned cluster bomb dropped by the Saudi warplane, in violation of international law.

In his first overseas trip as president, Donald Trump sealed an arms deal with Saudi Arabia worth $350 billion over 10 years, with nearly $110 billion, including cluster bombs.

Earlier, Amnesty International and human rights watch have called stop selling weapons to Saudi Arabia as a result of Saudi crimes against civilians in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has admitted using cluster bombs during its military campaign in Yemen.

Cluster bombs are a type of explosive devices which scatter into numerous submunitions (bomblets) over an area. Some can function as mins later on if unexploded.
