Only 3 kilometres left between the frontline positions of Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Tiger Forces division and the last stronghold of Daesh  in Aleppo province, following the latest advance made by government forces in the area.

About half an hour ago, Tiger Forces command declared their troops had imposed full control over Sukkariyah village which is located 3 kilometres west of Maskanah town, the aforementioned Daesh bastion.

Military sources reported that rebels have already began retreating from Maskanah as Syrian Army is currently in position to start an assault on the town.

It is noteworthy that Daesh-affiliated Amaq agency published a number of pictures taken in the area earlier this morning.

Those photos were probably taken exactly in the region which fell into the hands of Tiger Forces just hours later.
