19 Iraqis killed and Wounded in a Suicide Bombing in Central Baquba

An Iraqi security source said on Sunday that 19 people were killed by a suicide bomber near a security post in central Baquba.

The “Alsumaria News” site reported  that “a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up near a security point at the entrance to the conservative street in the center of Baquba, which led to the death of three people and wounded sixteen others, including security elements.”

The source added that “the security forces imposed a tight cordon around the area of the incident, and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment and bodies to the forensic medicine.”

The organization of  “Dahesh” , backed by Saudi Arabia, declared its  responsibility for the bombing.

The province of Diyala was the scene of  bombings from time to time as a result to casualties fell amid the civilians’ ranks.
