The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) responded to Daesh’s most recent offensives in the Deir Ezzor Governorate by striking the terrorist group across this desert province on Monday.
Led by their Al-Qassem Group, the Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard waged several attacks in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, targeting Daesh’s positions close to the provincial cemetery, Harabish District, and key hilltop of Tal Brouk.
According to a military source in the province, the Syrian Arab Army inflicted considerable damage on the terrorist group’s defenses near Tal Brouk, forcing many terrorist to relinquish their posts north of this hilltop.
Meanwhile, inside the provincial capital, the Syrian Arab Army’s 104th and 123rd brigades launched several raids around the Al-Rashiddeen, Old Airport, and Al-Hawiqah districts, killing and injuring a number of terrorist fighters.
