Renal Failure Patients in Yemen Face Death Because The War and Siege

As a result of the siege that have imposed on Yemen by Saudi-led Coalition since March 26,2015, renal failure patients in Zabid city, middle Yemen,  have faced the death because of shortage of medication, blackouts, and lack of servants.

Director of dialysis center confirmed that ” materials for dialysis are about to finish, adding ” we have still waited for this materials reaching these materials to Hodeida Port.

In May 2017 , World Health Organization (MSF) have call to rescue renal failure patients, saying in a report ” there are 4500  renal failure patients face the death in Yemen.

” the health status is serious  and getting worse because of ongoing the aggression and siege, we are trying to find treatments,  solutions,  and provide some medicines for patients but the patients are more,” D. Sadeq Ali Al Jabri, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs in the Military Hospital, sana`a said

He added” dialysis department needs to sols, filters, and medicines that the hospital cannot provide,  we had been doing a lot of a functioning kidney transplants , but today we have stopped these operations.

Meanwhile, Ali Al Faqeih , a patient , has implored Un to help him , he cannot get drug in a  pharmacy.
