Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee: An Oil Tanker was Attacked in Bab al-Mandab Is an American Play

The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, said on Thursday that the MT Muski tanker was attacked in Bab al-Mandab is as an American play and considered it part of the plot on the Yemeni corridor, denying at the same time that the Yemeni joint forces and security services have a relationship with it.

The head of the Revolutionary Committee said in a press statement issued today that “what happened in Bab al-Mandeb on the oil carrier MT Muski which  rises  the flag of the Marshall Islands is an American play and it doesn’t belong to us.”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi pointed to that Bab al-Mandab is under occupation and the responsible for what happens is the Saudi-led coalition  because Bab al-Mandab is  under its control.

He confirmed that what happened in Bab al-Mandab is within the framework of the American conspiracy on the Yemeni-occupied corridor, whereas America and its allies are working to find events to take pretexts and justifications but will not work, according to Houthi.

He reiterated that “the Yemeni joint forces of the Navy are military targets and have stopped more than a military operation to approach civilian carriers of these targets.”

At the end of his statement, he stressed that the Yemeni people are able to retake all what the Saudi-led coalition has invaded .
