Syrian authorities and the leadership of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS, Syrian Al-Qaeda branch) have reached a new deal which concerns two predominately Shia Muslim towns in Idlib province, Al-Foua’a and Kefrayya, besieged by Daesh rebels.
In accordance with the agreement, four severely sick persons along with 12 members of their families are to be evacuated to government-controlled regions in Hama province.
In return, the same number of HTS rebels and their family members will be transported from Yarmouk district in southern Damascus to Idlib province.
The deal is organized to be implemented on Thursday.
