The head of the Ansar Allah Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, said on Wednesday that many vital points were made in the briefing of the international envoy of Yemen to the Security Council.
Al-Houthi mentioned in an issued statement that the plan of the international envoy regarding Hodeidah confirms the involvement of the United Nations in the manipulation of state employees’ salaries it has promised to provide.
He said that it has become a national duty to expose the “actor” as he takes part in the war on the Yemeni people, accusing him of working in favor of the Saudi-led coalition.
In addition, Al-Houthi stressed the importance of continuing to organize rallies in front of the United Nations headquarters and condemn their taken stances towards the suffering of the Yemeni people.
He also expressed gratitude for Ansar Allah and the General People’s Congress major parties for not dealing with the UN envoy, Wald Al-Sheikh, during his recent visit to convey a message of strong dissatisfaction.
Mohamed Ali al-Houthi said that the excuse used by the international envoy about revenues is void, explaining that the Central Bank’s administration in the capital Sana’a has already briefed him in 2016 on the details of official cashing and provided him with all the data and documents, the method of revenue delivery in all governorates as well as the obligations of the Republic of Yemen, such as with embassies, in an integrated file in coordination with the Ansar Allah Supreme Revolutionary Committee at the time.
Earlier, Wald Al-Sheikh’s summarizing to the Security Council on Tuesday consisted of bargaining with state employees’ salaries for military and political objectives, in clear contravention of international and humanitarian norms.
