Saudi Air Strikes Bomb Yemen’s Cholera Treatment Center in Northern Yemen

Saudi air strikes have bombed a cholera treatment center in Sa`adah, northern Yemen, killing some patients, and wounded others a according to Health Office in the province.

The Health Province said in a statement that Saudi air strike targeted, on Saturday afternoon Guhzah Central, near to Sa`ada city for Cholera treatment when it was full of patients.

The Office confirmed that  raids led to the injury of a number of patients and their companions,  destroying building medical equipment.

” the patients immediately transferred to other places after destroyed  building medical equipment in the Central.

The disease brings along severe diarrhea, which can kill those afflicted within hours if not treated properly. Malnourished children are especially susceptible.

The epidemic has claimed the lives of 605 Yemenis, 40 percent of whom were children, according the latest report for UN.
