Yemenis Eliminate US-Supplied Saudi Cluster Bombs in Hajjah

The National Center for dealing with the removal of international banned cluster bombs eliminated a number of the US or UK-supplied Saudi weapons on Sunday.

The large amount of bombs were gathered and exploded in a suitable whole in a secure area, local source reported to YemenExtra.

Regardless of the weapon being recognized as a fobidden weapon by 119 countries, the Saudi-led coalition maintains its usage of cluter bombs in various Yemeni governorates.

Saada bordering governorate witnessed countless attacks by the aforementioned bombs, which have resulted in civilian deaths and injuries, either by immediate explosions or as mines if left unexploded.
