Yemenis kill 136 Sudanese troops, injured 244 during May

Yemen Joint Forces have announced killing more than 136 Sudanese troops, an officer and a soldier, during May, as well as 244 injured, a cording to military source to Al Masirah Channel.

In 25 May , 80 Sudanese troops were killed in Middi desert, western Yemen, by Yemeni Joint forces that distributed their pictures on Al Masirah Channel.

In 11 April, Sudanese army said that five of its troops have been killed while fighting for the Saudi-led coalition against Yemenis .

A Sudanese Military sources said to YemenExtra the losses suffered by the Sudanese forces, “ not normal”, pointing out the forces came under the bombardment of the Houthis after the ” treachery” from Saudi army..

The source added , high-ranking officers have been dispatched to Yemen to ensure tight operational coordination “because the number of casualties in the last battle is the greatest loss among our forces.”

The Sudanese army has been participating in the Saudi-led military coalition since 2015, that killed more than 12000 civilians according to UN.
