5 Palestinians Wounded by the Israeli Forces in Qalqilya

on Wednesday, five Palestinian youths were shot dead by the Israeli forces during clashes that broke out in the city of Qalqiliya, while the Israeli forces launched a campaign of arrests in the West Bank.

Palestinian Red Crescent sources reported that three of the injured were shot with live bullets and two by shrapnel. The injuries were concentrated in the lower parts of the body and were taken to the hospital of Dr. Darwish Nazzal for treatment.

In a separate context, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests in a number of cities in the occupied West Bank. According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the city of Qalqilya, and another young man from the village of Dura al-Qar’a, north of Ramallah.

The Israeli forces also arrested a young man from the city of Nablus and another from Tubas, in addition to arresting a young man from Hebron and another from the town of Hizma in Jerusalem.
