A child was seriously injured on Sunday in the bordering province of Sa’ada by an international banned cluster bomb.
A local source told YemenExtra that the child is a resident of the region Wada’ah in Safra’a district and was almost killed by a cluster bomb; a remnant of the bombs dropped by the US-backed Saudi coalition on impoverished Yemen.
Today’s incident is not the first of its kind as multiple civilians had and are still suffering from the prohibited weapon, which was used by the thousands in Amran province and a number of other provinces.
