Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused the US for creating “instability in the Middle East,” stating Washington’s combat against the terrorists of Daesh was “a lie.”
“You [the United States] and your agents are the source of instability in the Middle East … who created Islamic State? America … America’s claim of fighting against Islamic State is a lie,” Khamenei spoke during a meeting with high-ranking Iranian officials in Tehran on Tuesday.
He went on, “paying money to a group, providing them with weapons, creating military plans, supporting them, and treating their wounded in hospitals – that is destabilization of the region.”
Not so long ago, a US congressman expressed his perplexing idea that “since Shia Muslims endanger us, why don’t we back up ISIS to fight them?” the listeners responded in rejection stating that they will not support terrorists for their own interests.
However, the US continues to stand by forces against Assad, those forces include Nusra fighters, which is another name for Daesh or ISIS.
Also in Yemen, the US funds a military coalition against Ansarullah aka Houthis, whom are currently in battle with Al-Qaeda combatants, Saudi forces and their paid-militia.
Yemenis claim attacks are retaliatory as the Saudi war crimes keep happening with US-supplied weapons, resulting in a general and popular wave of reprimand towards the Saudi Kingdom and the United States.
