Chairman of the Supreme Yemeni Revolutionary Committee: The United Nations Is Involved in Starving the Yemenis

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, head of the Supreme Yemeni Revolutionary Committee, said that the United Nations is participating in the Saudi-led coalition  against Yemen in the crime of starving and besieging the Yemeni people.

He said in a tweet on Twitter that the United Nations envoy to Yemen had refused in his briefing to the Security Council to hand over the salaries of Yemenis , which is the official attitude of the United Nations  by being its representative, unless it announced an official attitude  contrary to what he announced.

Al-Houthi confirmed through a Hashtag ,with which he concluded his tweet,that he can not hold any negotiations before handing over the salaries. He explained that the replacement of UN envoy Ould Cheikh comes as a result of the Yemeni people’s rejection of him because of his failure in his mission.
