Commemoration of Imam Ali’s Martyrdom in Saada Province

Yemenis held various events on Thursday to commemorate the martyrdom of prophet Mohamed’s son law, Imam Ali, peace be upon him in Majz district of Saada bordering province.

A large number of citizens took their part and participated to stress the need of walking on the same path of Imam Ali, local source reported to YemenExtra.

Imam Ali was known for his bravery and strength in Islamic beliefs, and couldn’t be defeated on the battlefield.

Therefore, enemies took advantage of his prayer in a place of worship and stabbed him from the back on his head, according to Islamic sources.

Moreover, participants confirmed the need to learn from Imam Ali’s great positions in the face of the tyrants and the arrogant.

Muslims all over the world commemorate the aforementioned day and take Imam Ali as a true reflection of Islam.
