Hundreds of Palestinian paramilitary reinforcements now in east Damascus

Nearly hundreds of Palestinian paramilitary personnel traveled from the Jaramana Refugee Camp to the Badiya Al-Sham area of rural Damascus, Friday, a Syrian Army source reported.

According to the source, these reinforcements will substitute some of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers that were redeployed to the eastern part of Damascus City.

Jaysh Al-Tahrir has fought in several combats in the past, including some offensives in northern Syria.

Since taking control of the border-crossing near the village of Al-Boudah, the Syrian Armed Forces have postponed their operations in order to focus on the eastern countryside of Palmyra; they are expected to resume the offensive in the upcoming weeks.
