Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin announced that Israeli security forces were preparing to demolish the homes of those believed to have carried out Friday’s deadly killing of an Israeli police officer.

Speaking during a weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem on Sunday, Netanyahu added that Palestinians’ permits to visit Israel, approved for Ramadan, had been revoked. He continued, “I call on the countries of the world to condemn both the murder and those who praise it.”

Israeli police officer Hadas Malka was stabbed and later died as  a result of her wounds near Damascus Gate. The three attackers were killed by Israeli forces.

The self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIL/ISIS) has claimed responsibility for the incident. However, Hamas allegedly rejected the claim in a statement, mentioning that the attackers belonged to its ranks to resist the ongoing occupation.
