Media wings affiliated with the forces of the Saudi-led coalition reported that a security force responsible for guarding the building of Aden province prevented the so-called Abdulaziz Al-Maflhi, appointed by Saudi Arabia as Aden’s governor, from entering the building.
Al-Maflhi arrived at the building along with Ahmed Obaid Bn Dhagr, head of the Hadi government, but the guards blocked them from getting into the building and forced them to leave, local source reported to YemenExtra.
Al-Maflhi has been appointed as a governor a month ago as a successor of Ayedroos Zubaidi, whom was pro-UAE.
Speaking of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the first supported Zubaidi while the latter backed Hadi, who dropped Zubaidi and in response, people in Aden took to streets to show solidarity with Zubaidi.
