In a response to the Saudi -led coalition daily air strikes ,the head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mr. Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, revealed the introduction of the Yemeni joint forces  a new weapon, which was manufactured by Yemeni expertise to the battles fronts of fighting against the Saudi-led coalition  .

He said on a post on  his Facebook site , enclosing it as he tested the effectiveness of the new weapon , said that the war manufacturing units had been able to manufacture a sniper rifle with a range of 2,000 meters, overtaking the circumstances of the battle with the seriousness and determination of their  men as he elaborated  .

The sniper units of  the Yemeni joint forces have continued their combat operations since the beginning of this year, especially on the fronts beyond the border ,whereas the  sniper operations that targeted Saudi officers and soldiers were the most important operations of the Saudi army’s depletion of manpower.

Notably,  statistics of the Yemeni army indicate the deaths of hundreds of Saudi soldiers, foreigners and paid fighters  as a result of sniping operations this year.
