Yemen, World Countries Hold on Marches in Quds Day

Millions of people are taking to the streets across Yemen and other world countries Friday on the occasion of International Quds Day, which falls on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan,to support Palestinians  against Israel.

In Yemen, people from men, women,and children are gathering to 60 street western Sana`a for the annual event which usually marks chanting slogans against Israel.

In Thursday, Leader of Ansarullah, Seyyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, has called  in in a live televised speech in Al Masirah Channel all Yemenis to take streets on the occasion of International Quds Day Friday.

In the Capital of Iran, Tehran, and other cities and towns, people from all walks of life are gathering in which Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Ali Khamenei emphasized the importance of Quds Day on Wednesday

Hamas asked, in a press statement, Arabs and Muslims to support Occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque as well as the Palestinian besieged people on International Quds Day which coincides on last Friday of holy month of Ramadan>

The International Quds Day is an annual event opposing Israel’s occupation of Beitul-Muqaddas, and anti-Zionist rallies and demonstrations have been held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Arab countries, special in Yemen as well as well as a large number of Muslim and non-Muslim states.

The Iranian foreign ministry in a statement on the occasion of annual Quds Day said that the Israeli regime which has occupied Quds is the major source of crisis and tension in West Asia.

The International Quds Day was started by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, in 1979 as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring importance of the holy Quds to Muslims.
