The “Daesh”  terrorist group, backed by Saudi Arabia, has, via its Amaq media front, published an info-graphic on all of the suicide bombing operations it has carried out in the month of June between Syria and Iraq. The info-graphic is exceptionally detailed, presenting the specific number of suicide bombings directed against each anti-“Daesh”faction and a breakdown in the method of delivery of the total number of attacks.

According to the info-graphic, “Daesh”, backed by Saudi Arabia, engaged in a total of 55 “martyrdom operations” (as the terrorist group calls it) throughout June between Syria and Iraq and that of these attacks, thirty-six were carried out by vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED), eighteen by “Daesh” fighters, backed by Saudi Arabia, bearing explosive vests and one by an “Daesh” fighter , backed by Saudi Arabia, using an explosive belt.

Furthermore, the number of suicide bombing operations employed against each major anti-“Daesh” faction , backed by Saudi Arabia, are presented as follows: the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) based in Syria were on the receiving on of 11 attacks, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) bore the brunt of 12 attacks whilst the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) endured a staggering 32 attacks.

Lastly, the map released in the info-graphic also shows that of the 55 suicide bombings employed against all factions throughout Syria and Iraq, the Raqqa Governonate in Syria and and the Mosul region of Iraq witnessed fifteen attacks each (around 55 percent of the total); this essentially correlates to the intensity of military operations that “Daesh” , backed by Saudi Arabia, was engaged in between these two regions during the month of June as compared to other areas.
