Southern Leaders under House Arrest

A number of southern leaders who were recently sacked by the fugitive former president Abd Rabo Mansour Hadi were subjected to house arrest inside a hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia ,according to political sources in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The newspaper of Aden al-Ghad added that inside the Novotel Hotel in Jeddah after taking passports ,the former governor of Hadramout Ahmed Saeed bin Brik , governor of Shabwa Ahmed Hamed Lemels and governor of Socotra Salem al-Sakhtari were subjected to house arrest .
While the southern movement loyal to the UAE warned of using weapons to confront Hadi and his government after the decisions of the latter to detach the governors of southern governorates of the members of the Southern Council of the transition.
The Southern Movement and the “Transitional Political Council” had waited 24 hours since the resolutions that toppled its members and issued a statement rejecting those decisions and refusing to apply them.
The Southern Council said in a statement on Friday, declaiming his supporters, “The leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in your mandate and in response to your appeal confirms its categorical rejection of the presidential decisions issued on this morning, the twenty-ninth of June and consider it was not and will not deal with it and will remain the situation on what is with the Conservatives.”
