In Pictures: Syrian Army downs drone near Golan Heights

 The Syrian Army troops downed, this morning, a drone for rebel groups near Khan Arnabeh village, Quneitra province.

The government forces are fighting off a major assault waged by terrorist rebels on al-Ba’ath city; the Syrian Army’s main bastion in the southwestern province.

Even though the Israeli warplanes have repeatedly targeted the Army’s positions concurrently with the rebel offensive, the Army troops, supported by local fighters, managed to hold their positions and restore all points lost.

Pro-rebel social media outlets have mourned dozens of militants – including senior commanders – in battles with the Syrian Army.
