The Israeli Forces Reduces the Electricity of Gaza from 120 to 55 MW

The authority of energy and natural resources in the Gaza Strip,  Thursday, confirmed that the Israeli forces reduced electricity of Gaza from 120 MW to 55 MW.

It mentioned in a statement that the reduction of the Israeli forces reducing  electricity of lines has actually reached 55 MW, noting that this increases the burden and suffering in the sector in the hot summer.

It pointed out that the productivity of the power station with the use of Egyptian fuel currently reaches 70 MW, and that the available from all sources does not exceed 140 MW and does not cover the minimum requirements of the sector.

It stressed that the needs of the Gaza Strip of energy in these circumstances exceeds 500 MW.

The Energy Authority appealed to all responsible and international bodies to act urgently to stop these arbitrary measures that worsen the electricity crisis in Gaza.
