UAE Surrounds Bab-ul-Mandab Strait with its Military Bases

After its occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, United States is trying instead to play a new role in the region by pushing the Gulf States to occupy the countries, so that it does not cost the trouble of war and its human and material disaster. After Saudi Arabia’s aggression against Yemen, UAE is now immersed in a new colonial project aimed at controlling the Bab-al-Mandab straits.
The ambitions of UAE in East Africa during past few years which have demonstrated through the port of Doralah container Terminal, which is operated by a company Dubai Global Ports in Djibouti, which is the largest port container on the African continent, and then extended to Eritrea to establish the base, the military nerve, not only that but worked to devote the division of Somalia by establishing the base of Berbera in an area trying to secede from Somalia, and works today after planting claws in Yemen to surround and control the strategic waterway and main strait that is Bab-ul-Mandab.
In Eritrea, UAE built the military base of Aseb, which lies northwest of Bab-al-Mandab Strait. It is located along the southern port of the Red Sea with the port of Al-Makha. It is located just 10 kilometers south of the border. The Navy, which has witnessed intensive activity of UAE vessels participating in the war on Yemen. The ground extension of the base has evolved beyond its former role as a point of support for a greater strategic role in the context of conflicts and wars in the region.

It passes about 4.7 million barrels of Oil per day, with a width of only 28.9 km at its narrowest point, extending from the head of Cyan in Djibouti to the head of Manhali in Yemen.
The United Arab Emirates is trying to control the area between Yemen and the Arabian Peninsula on the one hand and East Africa on the other, which is the most important point of transit of goods to and from Asia across the Indian Ocean, Gulf of Aden, Mediterranean, Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
